Asbestos Building Inspector Refresher, 4 hours.

For the inspection of asbestos containing material (ACM) in Schools and commercial buildings. This four (4)  hour Course is designed as an annual refresher for individuals who have completed the initial Asbestos Building Inspector training .

The asbestos building inspector training includes a review of the folllowing:

• Asbestos Characteristics
• Health effects
• Medical Surveillance
• Safety Considerations
• Personal Protection
• OSHA, EPA, State and Local Regulations.

This course also includes a review of  how to perform asbestos inspections in various buildings including and not limited to public and commercial buildings, residential buildings, and schools.

Target Audience

This Asbestos Building Inspector (ABIR)  training refresher course, is targeted to individuals  who need an annual refresher of the Asbestos Building Inspector Initial Course. The ABIR reviews information provided in the initial course such as;

• How to assess the condition of asbestos material and report the results.
• How to perform the tasks involved in the asbestos survey, identification and assessment of the condition of asbestos and asbestos material,
• Including the collection of bulk samples of asbestos material for laboratory analysis.

This workshop reveiws your knowledge of field work and real-world examples from experienced instructors.
