COVID-19 and New Instructor facilitated on-line Courses

DC Environmental would first like to thank you for your continued support as we responsibly navigate the Covid-19 outbreak. We appreciate your partnership and friendship.

We believe it is our role and responsibility during this time to prioritize two things: the health and well-being of our customers and partners while also playing a constructive role in supporting local health officials and government leaders as they work to contain the virus. Through that lens, we will continue to make decisions with vigilance while informed by the latest science-based information.
Courses:
Due to recent global outbreak of COVID-19, DC Environmental has canceled all in room courses until April 15, 2020. We are aggressively pursuing setting up on line webinars with a live real time trainer.
We currently have a HAZWOPER refresher (March 26, 2020) and an Asbestos Maintenance Worker Refresher (April 2, 2020) through Go To meetings on our course schedule. These courses will be held through go to meetings, student will need a cellphone, tablet or computer to attend.

Our DC Environmental Eagle Rock office will be physically closed to the public and/or vendors but will continue our day-to-day operations via phone and e-mail. Our administrative staff is telecommuting and we are still available Monday Through Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM at (505) 869-8000

Projects:
The Industrial Hygiene technicians are reporting to worksites and facilities while employing a no handshake and social distancing policy of six (6) feet. For the protection of your staff and ours, all Asbestos Mold, Lead Based Paint Surveys and Hazard Assessments that are in occupied buildings will be scheduled after hours, when occupants have vacated the facility. If this scheduling is an issue, our technicians will be in protective equipment while in an occupied building during regular business hours.
DC Environmental staff who are not well will stay home and return to work only with the proper medical clearances from a medical facility.
Please let us know if we can provide any additional information.
Sincerely,
David Charlesworth, CIH and Karen Dremann, President
